Ignore the Imperfections

I posted a dresser I found on Craigslist for $20 awhile back. It looked like this before:
I have sanded, primed, and painted it. I added new drawer pulls too. I was wanting glass drawer pulls so I just picked up some cheapies from Home Depot until I could find glass ones that I like. I painted it an aqua blue color so it now looks like this:

Ok, so ignore the missing drawer pull. I can't find a screw long enough for it and I am waiting on Ryan's help for that one. The rest of the dresser I did myself. I also distressed it but you can't really tell in this picture. I got a cute little jewelry holder at Claire's for $2 and put my chandelier earrings on it to dress it up a little. I also bought two little canisters today at Target for $3 to put in that right hand corner.

That was my good deal of the day! :)  So, there is the finished product. Ignore the imperfections of the missing drawer pull and it isn't too bad. Now if only it would warm up so I could get to spray painting my chandelier and armoire for our room.

  1. Great job, I am so impressed! You really have talent when it comes to decorating and fixing things up. I am one of those that has to see it in a store and buy it the way it is. I have a hard time finding old things and fixing them up, so I admire you for that! :) Bravo!

  2. Thanks ladies! I don't deserve that much credit, Aubree! haha! But thank you! I have plenty of aqua paint left over if you do find something and want it blue! :)
